Submit Wordplay Challenges

It could beyour contest everyone's struggling to solve!

Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon will always offer a Word Games challenge every two weeks. But they are willing to share the stage with the many talented folks who wander in to enjoy the puns, anagrams, cryptics, spoonerisms, etc. which fill this place.

Here's how it works:

If you have an idea for a Word Games contest, let them know via email. Include your real name along with your nom de plume. In the subject line of your email, please type WG CONTEST SUBMISSION. First of all, you would not want your winning contest idea dismissed as a rather strange entry to the current contest. And this will also help leave Emily and Henry some free time to prepare their next stumper (they get a lot of email!).

A few hints:

Word Games contests cover the range of wordplay, so most anything is fair game. To better understand this range and avoid duplication of earlier contests, check out the archive of previous contests.

Emily and Henry read each and every entry, so your game should require relatively short answers. Also, try to avoid moving beyond PG-13 boundaries: we want all ages to enjoy the challenge.

Enjoy!
