EgyptAir flight is hijacked to Cyprus: The domestic flight was en route from Alexandria to Cairo. Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades says the incident is “not related to terrorism.” News reports say the hijacker wanted to see his estranged wife, who is Cypriot. All the hostages aboard the plane appear to have been freed. The hijacking appears to be over:

Apple vs. FBI, cont’d: The Justice Department, in a legal filing last night, says it has unlocked an iPhone that belonged to one of the San Bernardino attackers, and is dropping its lawsuit against Apple, which had refuse to help the FBI unlock it.

Brussels attacks, cont’d: Airport workers will conduct a mock check-in at Brussels airport, the scene of last Tuesday’s deadly attacks that killed 35 people. Flights remain grounded.
