Scenes From the Occupation of the Port of Oakland

Filmmaker Brandon Hill captured this footage of the massive Oakland general strike on November 2, in which thousands of people flooded into the port of Oakland to shut it down. The truly dramatic footage starts around 1:30, when the protest moves into the port at sunset and demonstrators climb shipping containers and scaffolding.
