Jim Fallows and I share an interest in ridiculous public relations pitches. We are both inundated by them (as are, I imagine, many, many other reporters), and every so often I like to post one, in particular the most absurd ones. To wit:

The press release attached details how we have reached out to Stuart Lawley and the ICM Registry....

We have worked, and continue to work tirelessly to develop our brands into the best in the adult entertainment sector. The creation and maintenance of the new adult TLD concerns us greatly, and we are willing to take the steps required to shelter our brands and products from the exploitation that may ensue should the ICM act irresponsibly.
