In the New York Times, Linda Greenhouse expressed her disgust over last spring's 'breathing while undocumented' immigration law introduced in Arizona. Here's her 'modest proposal' for what average citizens could do to protest the legislation:

Everyone remembers the wartime Danish king who drove through Copenhagen wearing a Star of David in support of his Jewish subjects. It's an apocryphal story, actually, but an inspiring one. Let the good people of Arizona -- and anyone passing through -- walk the streets of Tucson and Phoenix wearing buttons that say: I Could Be Illegal.

I have never visited Nazi Germany, it being gone, but I have visited Arizona, and it seems to me that Nazi Germany was probably worse. Though more temperate climatically.

More Nazi references, please!
