Running the Gamut

By Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon

puzzler grid

In several squares of this diagram, as many as six letters may share the space. The letters in each of these squares come partly from an Across answer and partly from a Down answer, with each contributing from one to four letters. The multiple letters in each such square can be anagrammed to form a word; solvers are encouraged to represent that word in the grid square without letters. Answers include two capitalized words.
