Because people you don't know -- Ann Althouse, in this case -- insult you for no particular reason except that you happen to find Dahlia Lithwick's Sotomayor-related poetry highly amusing, and they don't.  But nice to meet you, Ann. I actually take your side in the men-in-shorts debate, for what it's worth. But now with less enthusiasm.
