A video of a singing Pakistani fish seller in the British capital has gone viral. The clip shows Muhammad Shahi Nazir attracting customers by bringing Punjabi folk singing to the busy London fish market. After posing for a photo with an admirer and being prompted off-camera, Nazir sings his pitch:

Come on ladies, come on ladies,
One-pound fi-i-i-sh!
Come on ladies, come on ladies,
One-pound fi-i-i-sh!
One-pound fi-i-i-sh!
Have-a have-a look, One-pound fish!
H
ave-a have-a look, One-pound fish!
Very very good,
Very very cheap,
One-pound fish!
Six for five-pound, one pound each!

Six for five-pound, one pound each! ...

The YouTube video has attracted nearly 4 million views. His fans now call him the "One-Pound-Fish Man."

Warner Music, a major global music conglomerate, has signed a contract with Nazir and is planning to release his song on December 9. The Sun speculates the song could become a chart-topper by Christmas. Nazir is happy with the attention. He told London's Evening Standard that people are coming to see him after watching the video. "People came from America, Canada, everywhere, wanting my autograph and not buying fish unless I sing," he said. "I feel special. I think I'm watching a dream and someone will touch me and I'll wake up." Nazir has never sung professionally. In search of a better life, he moved to London from Pakistan with his wife and four children a year ago.
