Horrifying reports are dribbling out of northwest Syria about an all-out assault on unarmed civilians by the army. Libyan soldiers, of course, continue to slaughter Libyans, and are threatening to rape the wives of rebels, Yemenis are still slaughtering Yemenis, and Bahrainis are oppressing Bahrainis. The Arab-led regime in Khartoum is bombing black Sudanese from the air in the country's south. Meanwhile, here in Washington, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee has canceled the performance of a singer at its annual convention because his music offends the Syrian regime. This cancellation, however, should give the ADC more time to talk about Israel.
