Liel Liebovitz in Tablet brings word of yet another proposal for an Israeli loyalty oath, this one aimed at Arab tour guides in East Jerusalem. Apparently, some of them don't like Israel, which is their right in a democracy, except that it wouldn't be their right if a new proposal to make tour guides swear allegiance to the "the national Israeli viewpoint" is passed. Liebovitz ends his post with this gem of a line: "Other countries that require state-appointed, ideologically approved travel guides include North Korea."
