Orbital View: The Oil in the Gulf Spreads Northeast

This image, captured via spectroradiometer on June 19th, shows oil spreading from the source of the leak (in the lower left-hand quadrant) up toward the Alabama and Florida coasts. The government estimates that anywhere from 36 to 106 million gallons of oil have entered the Gulf.
