How to Break the Procrastination Habit

Isn't there something else you should be doing now? Didn't you click on the link that led to this post because you were trying to avoid doing something more productive, and more arduous, than clicking on a link? Don't you have a procrastination problem?

Help is available! Not from me, God knows. Asking me to help you quit procrastinating is like seeking anger management counseling from Mel Gibson. But Charles Duhigg, New York Times reporter and author of the bestselling book The Power of Habit , has some tips for procrastinators that he recently shared with me. The first of the two clips below is me describing my procrastination problem and him trying to convince me that maybe it isn't a problem after all. The second clip (which you may want to skip directly to, unless you share my fascination with my problems) is him, having finally acknowledged that I may have a problem, suggesting a way to solve it.
