Cinematic Visions of the Apocalypse: A Supercut

Thanks to CGI, Hollywood's depictions of the end of the world are more explosive than ever. Editor Zach Prewitt, who specializes in supercuts, compiled scenes from 23 films, all fairly recent. It would be interesting to see an edit that included older, pre-digital special effects, but this is a fascinating look at today's disaster movie zeitgeist.
