Visually Deconstructing How Reggie Watts Makes a Beatboxing Track

By Kasia Cieplak-Mayr von Baldegg

A simple but clever video by Ronen V demonstrates how Reggie Watts, a comedian and musician, builds a song by recording and looping his voice. Rion Nakaya, who curates the fabulous blog The Kid Should See This, points out that while most of Watts's work is explicit (but hilarious), this track is actually safe for audiences of all ages. Ronen V also made this awe-inspiring video about aerialist Seanna Sharpe's acrobatics performance above the Williamsburg Bridge last summer.
