At noon today, the Indianapolis Colts will announce that they are releasing 14-year veteran and Super Bowl Champion quarterback Peyton Manning from the team. This has been a foregone conclusion since the news was leaked Monday that the team would not be paying the $28 million contract bonus owed to Manning, thus making him a free agent.

The neck injuries that sidelined Manning for the entirety of the 2011-12 should give many teams reason for concern, but the prospect of even one year of good play from the four-time MVP is enough to get quarterback-starved franchises across the country to shell out a big contract. The floodgates will officially open as teams race to get the 14-year veteran on the phone and hopefully into the fold. Here are the teams with the best chance of making one of the biggest free-agent splashes in recent memory.
