Track of the Day: 'Trust You Again'

By Brendan Hasenstab

Past TracksMuttonheads is a French progressive house DJ and producer (real name: Jérôme Tissot) who has been cranking out singles since the mid-2000s for Serial Records, a hip Parisian electro label. Here he teams up with a female vocalist from the far southwest corner of France, by the name of Eden Martin. This young lady has absolutely no trace of a French accent in this vocal track; she certainly sounds more American than Robyn. None of that would matter, of course, if the tune weren't top-shelf. This is a big-club house track, and it's a tale of figuring out that your guy is seeing someone else on the side. However, the slick video has a nice twist at the end, and it seems our vocalist isn't too broken up about it, after all.
