As recently as Thanksgiving, a 2011-2012 NBA season seemed unlikely, with the owners and players continuing to haggle over future revenues, as well as the structures of the salary cap and the luxury tax. Sports fans, of course, come for the action, and watching daily news clips of players walking into negotiations with owners didn't quite suffice. Thankfully the two sides finally came to a resolution on November 26, agreeing to start a compressed 66-game season less than a month later, with a five-game tip off on Christmas Day. The lockout will heavily impact the evolution of this truncated season, but there are other major NBA storylines to follow, too. Here are the 10 most interesting.
