On the surface Twilight seems harmless enough. It's a relatively straighforward tale about a human girl who falls in love with a century-old vampire. But in the six years since the series' first book was published, Stephenie Meyer's teen vampire saga has angered an astounding range of people: feminists, Christians, best-selling authors, and more.
