Upcoming Books: 24 New Releases to Look Forward to This Fall

As summer fades to fall, publishers pivot from beach reads to weightier books. This year is no exception: the next few months will see new releases from a range of Nobel-, Pulitzer-, and Man Booker-winning authors, including Daniel Kahneman, Joan Didion, and Alan Hollinghurst. There are some more lighthearted titles to look forward to as well, like a debut essay collection from The Office's Mindy Kaling and a dog memoir by incoming New York Times executive editor Jill Abramson.
