The site's immediate popularity isn't surprising. But is there anything that special about Lady G's newest Internet project, or are her Little Monsters latching onto another Gaga production simply because their idol runs it?
From the title, it seems that the Tumblr, AmenFashion, will mostly showcase the mix of high-end and out-there fashions Gaga's been known to sport. The first post—definitely the best and most Gaga-esque—shows Gaga gripping her pretty-much-naked breasts with her black, talon-esque nails, wearing some awesome eye makeup:
The rest of the posts mostly show Gaga looking couture. However, she also throws in some non-clothing related bits, including quotes and a photo of a human heart from her video for "Alejandro."
"He ate my heart so I put it in the Alejandro Video:"
Though these pieces aren't straight up fashion, they demonstrate Gaga's tastes and perhaps her inspiration. But it doesn't really matter if Amen Fashion stays true to its title, showcasing the Gaga aesthetic. Given the immediate popularity, we only expect the blog to continue growing exponentially, no matter what she posts.
