Rashard Mendenhall, the running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has become the latest famous person to question Osama bin Laden's role in the 9/11 attacks. In the wake of the news that bin Laden had been killed, Mendenhall tweeted: "I'm not convinced he was even behind the attacks we have really seen no evidence to prove it other than the gov telling us".

The tweet has since been removed from his feed.

Mendenhall is not alone in his skepticism. Several other well known people have expressed doubts about whether bin Laden really orchestrated the attacks:
