Alec Baldwin: No More '30 Rock' After 2012

By Rebecca Greenfield

30 Rock star Alec Baldwin told Vulture "our show next year is our last year of the show" at last night's National Dance Institute's annual fund-raising gala. Which, New York Magazine has translated to the show "is ending next season." Vague constructs aside, Baldwin has mentioned previously that 2012 would be his last season. But just because Jackie boy's out, does that mean the show can't go on? Baldwin also told Vulture that Tina Fey will likely not renew past the upcoming season either:

But Baldwin says it's a done deal that Fey will be leaving. "Our contracts are expired [in 2012], and Tina is gonna have a big career directing films and writing. She's going to be the next Elaine May. She'll be great."

Even if the show will go on sans Jack and Liz, is that a 30 Rock we really want to watch?
