Sarah Palin's TV Doppelgangers, From Tina Fey to Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore will be the latest actress to play Sarah Palin: She landed the role of the former vice presidential candidate in HBO's adaptation of Game Change—Mark Halperin and John Heilemann's 2010 book about the 2008 presidential campaign.

Moore, a four-time Academy Award nominee, has a lot to live up to with her portrayal—Tina Fey pageant-walked her way to an Emmy for her take on Palin on Saturday Night Live. But Fey's isn't the only performance Moore's will be compared to. Five actresses either have played or will play Palin on TV. While Will Ferrell certainly owned Dubya on SNL and Peter Morgan's HBO adaptation of The Special Relationship co-starred Hope Davis as an uncanny Hillary Clinton, have there ever been so many representations of an active politician simultaneously happening on television?
