Christina Aguilera's Super Bowl Fiasco, and Other National Anthem Lyrics Malfunctions

When we offered Christina Aguilera advice on how to sing the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl, we forgot one essential tip: Make sure to memorize the lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner" before you perform in front of 100 million people. Alas, the Burlesque star flubbed the words to our nation's hymn, singing, "what so proudly we watched" instead of "o'er the ramparts we watched":

Aguilera is unsurprisingly mortified by her mistake, but she shouldn't feel too bad. She's just the latest in a long line of celebrities who have blanked on the lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner":
