Eddie Fisher, Singer and Hollywood Lothario, Dies at Age 82

Singer, actor, and "one of Hollywood's original bad boys" Eddie Fisher died Wednesday at age 82. A pop idol in the '50s, Fisher recorded over 25 Top 40 hits. He starred in several television series and feature films, including Butterfield 8 opposite Elizabeth Taylor.

But as he wrote in his autobiography Been There, Done That: "It isn't the music that people remember most about me. It's the women." Indeed, he was married five times: to  Debbie Reynolds—with whom he fathered actress Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia)—Elizabeth Taylor, Connie Stevens—with whom he fathered actress Joely Fisher (Ellen, Til Death)—Terry Richard, and Betty Lin. He also was romantically linked to Marlene Dietrich, Dinah Shore, Angie Dickinson, and Kim Novak.
