Chevy Songs, Continued

When we did our roundup of songs that mention "Chevy"—the Chevrolet nickname that General Motors is trying to discourage its employees from using—we somehow forgot to list Paula Cole's 1997 hit, "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?"

"Where Have all the Cowboys Gone" opens with a reference to the car—"Oh you get me ready in your '56 Chevy/Why don't we go sit down in the shade?"—and then brings it up again later when the couple in the song is having financial trouble: "We finally sold the Chevy/When we had another baby/And you took that job in Tennessee."

We regret the oversight.
