The Wisdom of Twitter

By Ta-Nehisi Coates

I read this from Ezra...

New Yorkers, by contrast, have what's considered the greatest city in the country and can't stop talking about it. It's like an A-student bragging about his grades, or a rich guy making everybody look at his car. It's unseemly.

...and all I could think was "Steve Holt!"

And just like that, I begin to see what a tweet might--might--be good for.

On another note, em dashes responds to New York hate here. One thing I didn't realize, or rather underestimated, is how much people really don't like New Yorkers. Put more accurately, I didn't realize how much people in media fields, who don't live in New York, don't like New Yorkers.

Whatever. Steve Holt!!!
