From comments, here she is talking on CNN. Obviously, I don't really agree with a lot of this, but I do get a lot of it, if that makes sense. It's very familiar. 


But that aside, I was struck by something else--a kind of admiration for her not backing down. I don't mean admiration for being obstinate, but admiration for not saying "Well, what I really meant was..." Maybe this is coming off that Big Love thread, but I like that she represented. I wish she'd been pushed more in the interview on issues of identity, the individual, the collective, and its limits. Still, in a weird way, I appreciate her standing tall.
