Update 1:33 p.m.: Colfer's manager told Lesley Goldberg of The Hollywood Reporter that his Twitter account was hacked and he is not leaving the show.
Original Post: Ahead of the show's sixth and final season, longtime Glee cast member Chris Colfer announced today that he has been "let go" from the cast. Colfer attributed the dismissal to personal issues.

Rumors of infighting have frequently swirled around Fox's musical dramedy, and recently the network denied reports that Naya Rivera was fired from the show. The show also weathered tragedy last year after star Cory Monteith died of an overdose.
Colfer, who has been with the show from the onset as Kurt Hummel, recently wrote an episode.
