A list of the most fantastical characters brought to life through music
Traditional authors aren't the only ones capable of breathing life into sophisticated, relatable characters. Though story craft hasn't traditionally been thought of as the focus for musicians, plenty of artists have gone to great lengths to craft their own array of characters, from cross-dressers to alien space rockers and alternate personalities.
We've compiled here a list of our favorite characters culled from the minds of great musicians. Please feel free to add your own suggestions below.
