Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Gives Nod to Lady Rockers

In a fine showing for the rock world's guitar-shredding divas, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame released the names of 2012 nominees this morning, which include arena rocker Joan Jett, sister group Heart and funk group Rufus with Chaka Khan--all first-time nominees.

Other less-than-expected first-time picks include hip-hop pioneers Eric B. & Rakim and post-punk goths The Cure who join The Small Faces/The Faces, Guns 'N Roses and Freddie King and the Spinners.
