For men and women of a certain age, this is excellent news. Here he discusses how Marvel came dangerously close to publishing DC's line of heroes. You can read about the business there, but as a thought experiment, I'm interested in what this would have meant creatively. I'm assuming they would have kept the two universes separate. But I'd bet you'd see a lot more multiverse-style crossovers.
