'Gods Behaving Badly' Playlist: OutKast, AC/DC, Willie Nelson ...

"Venus" by Bananarama (or Shocking Blue, depending on your preference). "Athena" by The Who. "Come Sail Away" by Styx. The Greco-Roman gods have inspired pop song-writers for decades. Which is lucky for 1book140 this month, since we're reading Marie Phillips's Gods Behaving Badly, about a family of ancient deities living together in a rundown townhouse in modern-day London: There are plenty of songs for a book club soundtrack.

We asked our followers yesterday to suggest songs for a playlist inspired by Gods Behaving Badly and got a range of terrific suggestions. Here they are in playlist form. You can listen by clicking on the widget below, or follow this link to access it on Grooveshark. Happy reading (and listening!).
