'Hunger Games': Lenny Kravitz Cast as Cinna

More

Grammy award-winning rock star Lenny Kravitz is the latest person to join the eclectic cast of the upcoming film adaptation of Suzanne Collins's hit novel The Hunger Games. The "Are You Gonna Go My Way?" singer will play the Cinna, the warm stylist who creates Katniss's famous Girl on Fire dress.

In addition to Kravitz, the cast of The Hunger Games—which began shooting last week—includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, and fellow turn-of-the-century "It" boy Wes Bentley.

Director Gary Ross said he cast Kravitz based on his work as a maternity ward nurse in the film Precious:
