Obama, the Musical: Clips From Germany's Tribute to the President

Back in January, Germany hosted the world premiere of Hope: Das Obama Musical—a fully staged theatrical production about the president that  "charts his meteoric journey from community worker to the White House." Hillary Clinton belts a torch song; Barack and Michelle sing their meet-cute; former lead singer of The Weather Girls plays a Chicago woman entrenched in the Obama movement.

Now extended b-roll of the production is making its way to the States, featuring a a look at the 11 o'clock production number "Yes We Can." In the words of the Stuttgarter Zeitung review: "Yes, we can dance"
