Born in 1975, the product of two beautiful parents. Raised in West Baltimore—not quite The Wire, but sometimes ill all the same. Studied at the Mecca for some years in the mid-’90s. Emerged with a purpose, if not a degree. Slowly migrated up the East Coast with a baby and my beloved, until I reached the shores of Harlem. Wrote some stuff along the way.

My Cowboys are not ready. I though this from the beginning—it really doesn't matter how many stars you have on offense. If you don't have a line, you're in trouble. That holding call was classic Cowboys in the Wade Phillips (and really Bill Parcells) era.

The only other game I saw was the Philly. Michael Vick still isn't accurate, but he looks like he never did a day of that bid. The NFC East looked really overrated yesterday.

Lastly, D-Sel was kind enough to come back and set up our Pick-Em league. We're going through Yahoo sports. Info after the jump. We start up at Week 3. When it fills up, D will set up another league. It'd be nice if we could get him some help on pulling together the scores each week. Two or three volunteers would be awesome.
