'Twilight' Author Made More Money Than Stephen King, Danielle Steele, J.K. Rowling

Forbes has released its annual list of the past year's highest-paid writers, and Twilight author Stephenie Meyer made more money than almost anyone, including Stephen King, Danielle Steele, and Harry Potter scribe J.K. Rowling. But there's one writer the vampire novelist didn't beat: James Patterson, the prolific author of thrillers like Pop Goes the Weasel and Cat and Mouse.
