Forbes has released its annual list of the past year's highest-paid writers, and Twilight author Stephenie Meyer made more money than almost anyone, including Stephen King, Danielle Steele, and Harry Potter scribe J.K. Here's the top 10 on the list:

.) James Patterson
.) Stephenie Meyer
.) Stephen King
.) Danielle Steele
.) Ken Follett
.) Dean Koontz
.) Janet Evanovich
.) John Grisham
.) Nicholas Sparks
.) J.K. Rowling
