17 Romantic Comedies That Are Actually Neither

>In honor of The Switch--a movie that opens this weekend, about a man who tricks a woman into having his baby--New York Magazine's Vulture blog has a list of other romantic comedies that are actually very, very dark.

It features the classics Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sleepless in Seattle, and While You Were Sleeping, along with pithy explanations for why each film makes the list. The best one is for The Graduate, Dustin Hoffman's iconic film about restlessness and the perils of dating an older woman:
