Deadline Hollywood reports that Kitty Kelly's biography of Oprah Winfrey will be made into a television movie. Details below, but the real question is: Who will play the talk show host/magazine magnate/Oscar-nominated actress?

[Veteran TV movie producer Larry A.] Thompson plans to turn the book into a TV movie or a miniseries to air in September 2011, coinciding with Winfrey's sign-off from her syndicated daytime talk show after 25 years. He is close to signing a writer for the adaptation and is already shopping the project to TV networks.
