It's hard to remember that behind the veneer of spray tans and hair gel, the Jersey Shore cast members are regular old people. The MTV photo album "When I was 17" lets us into the awkward adolescent lives of our favorite guidos and guidettes, showing us a glimpse of their humble upbringings. The album includes some real gems, including our favorite, this photo of Mike "The Situation" looking chipper in a snazzy turtleneck:
