Born in 1975, the product of two beautiful parents. Raised in West Baltimore—not quite The Wire, but sometimes ill all the same. Studied at the Mecca for some years in the mid-’90s. Emerged with a purpose, if not a degree. Slowly migrated up the East Coast with a baby and my beloved, until I reached the shores of Harlem. Wrote some stuff along the way.

But It Was The World That Was Wrong...

Behold the unbridled awesomeness of Les Cousins Dangereux. I think the best thing about Arrested Development is that it only lasted three seasons. Of those, I think Season Two (which is on Hulu right now) is the best. I love The Office, but if you compare the episodes from, like, Season Two to now, the drop-off is serious.

I don't much blame them. I just don't think you can run narrative forever. Arrested Development, to me, had one of the tightest runs I've ever seen. There's something to be said for that. They were the Gale Sayers of sit-coms.
