A Black Mark On The NFL
By
Jim Caldwell is the fourth black head coach to go to the Super Bowl in four years, and is favored to be the third to win it in four years. I think Peyton Manning is a one-man Affirmative Action program. All jokes aside, it really is a remarkable thing--so remarkable that I don't think anybody much cares. Which is at should be.
I think the Rooney Rule is still needed, and still a good thing. But I came up watching football in the 80s. I can barely remember black assistant coaches back then. I know they were there, but I don't remember many. Things done changed.
