Born in 1975, the product of two beautiful parents. Raised in West Baltimore—not quite The Wire, but sometimes ill all the same. Studied at the Mecca for some years in the mid-’90s. Emerged with a purpose, if not a degree. Slowly migrated up the East Coast with a baby and my beloved, until I reached the shores of Harlem. Wrote some stuff along the way.

Interesting stuff. I regret the lack of attention I've paid to this. There's just so much going on, and at the moment I don't have anything particularly interesting to say. My basic political prejudices go against escalation--I've yet to discern any sort of doable goal. But that's an unexamined sense. I need to dig a little more.

Anyway, this was interesting. They should have lost the other guest. I felt like she was a lot less clear.
