Born in 1975, the product of two beautiful parents. Raised in West Baltimore—not quite The Wire, but sometimes ill all the same. Studied at the Mecca for some years in the mid-’90s. Emerged with a purpose, if not a degree. Slowly migrated up the East Coast with a baby and my beloved, until I reached the shores of Harlem. Wrote some stuff along the way.

Dean And Co.

This is some really interesting video from MSNBC. The first is Howard Dean and Mary Landrieu fighting battling it out over the Senate bill. The second (after the jump) is Jay Rockefeller responding to some of Dean's earlier comments. For what it's worth, I didn't get the sense that any of them were being dishonest. But I do wonder whether Dean is taking a lot of this personally.

In other news, every time I see Mary Landrieu I think someone in her family was passing. Actually numerous someones. I need to chill. I think I have a crush on her.
