Born in 1975, the product of two beautiful parents. Raised in West Baltimore—not quite The Wire, but sometimes ill all the same. Studied at the Mecca for some years in the mid-’90s. Emerged with a purpose, if not a degree. Slowly migrated up the East Coast with a baby and my beloved, until I reached the shores of Harlem. Wrote some stuff along the way.

I'm down on Maryland's Eastern Shore going to see some of my fam. Dunno if I ever told you guys, but this is where my people are from. I'm gonna make it to Africa one day, but I've always felt that this was my personal Motherland. I'd imagine a lot of black folks feel like that about the Deep South.

At any rate, this was supposed to be a thread for those of us watching the game. It's still that. Just some thoughts, first. Happy Thanksgiving, guys.
