The Temperature Outside The Beltway

This week's Economist/YouGov poll focuses on the climate bill:

If Congress had to choose between passing a health-care reform bill and legislation to address global warming, health care wins by an overwhelming 62%-16% margin. Most respondents say they have not heard about "cap and trade" or don't understand it. When it is explained to them, support is lukewarm at best, with 43% opposing and 35% favouring (and only 8% favouring strongly).
