Who Owns The Economy?

The latest numbers:

54% Economic problems are due to the recession which began under the Bush administration

39% Economic problems are caused more by the policies of President Obama

7% Not sure

Sargent reflects:

[T]he 39% that now blame Obama for the economy is uncomfortably high, and it’s up 12 points since last month, so the clock is ticking on the public’s willingness to grant Obama breathing room. But pundits who have been saying that the public won’t tolerate the White House’s claim that Obama inherited the bad economy from his predecessor clearly seem to have overstated their case.
