We heard a lot of talk yesterday from the Obama administration about how they simply had to follow the rule of law and defend DOMA, lest they be no better than the lawless Bush administration before them. It's funny, therefore, that our oh-so-ethical President felt no such fealty to the law, but rather let politics and expediency be his guide, when it came time to prosecute the war crimes of his predecessor.
