I concur with this reader:

There's gravity present in the crowd that's unlike sporting crowds. Perhaps the calm present is more indicative of a profound acceptance that everything has now changed in spite of nothing in fact having changed. I've now watched the video over and over. After a few days of outbursts we now see how shock, memorials, and sorrow have all effectively undermined the current government leaving this crowd with a sense of subdued, awaited joy.
