That Suicide Bombing At The Shrine

By The Daily Dish
Jun 22 2009, 8:37 AM ET

An Iranian television report. I can see barely any damage at all. Translation:

- The person responsible for this act, had an explosive belt on and wanted to enter the shrine. When he realized that the security at the shrine are searching people, he went back and at the first entrance to the shrine (in front of the place where they hold people's shoes), where there is no security, he detonated the explosive and by God's will there was no big problem and only 3 people had minor injuries who were taken to the hospital.

Reporter: At what time did this happen?

- 4:45 pm

Reporter: As you can see, there is no damage to the shrine itself and the surrounding area. The only damage is at the entrance and even that is very minor and only some windows are broken.
